Good morning friends. This is my return to the blog in quite some time, my last post being the end of January. It has been the longest time off and honestly was due to a 'case of the blahs'.
In the lead up to Christmas I was on kept on a strict book buying ban. Apart from being immensely difficult not to purchase a book or two, it meant I got to revisit a book I hadn't read in quite a while.
How is your new year going? Do you make resolutions? If so, how are they going? Or are you taking a different approach and wintering instead?
Today, I am foregoing my usual To Be Read Pile of the New Year in honour of the snow. Here in North Yorkshire we had a lot of snow which arrived in the early morning.
On the last day of 2024, it is lovely to be writing to you all. I have a glass of lemonade with 2 cocktail cherries by my side, a ramekin of Quality Street which I am sure is multiplying faster than a set of randy rabbits.
