At this festive time of year, a number of the broadsheets are publishing their favourite books of the year. It is a nice way to look back on books that you may have read, been amazed by, thrilled by, terrified by and truly loved.
When I first started my blog, I knew I wanted it to be seasonal. The colours change in the header over the seasons, as do the images I use. And so now that July has finished, in my calendar, we have one more month of summer left.
At the time of writing, we have just witnessed the final of the Euros. England vs Italy at Wembley and just in case you missed the result, Italy won on penalties. It was pretty heartbreaking to watch.
This book is simply beautiful. Markus Torgeby was a talented runner destined for the Olympics, but could never excel at competition. So he took himself off for 4 years to live in the wilderness
