And just like that we are done with April. We have had a busy old time of it. A visit to Lincoln to celebrate my parents who have been married for 60 years, a trip to York with a couple of good friends, a family meal for 12 people and a couple of hospitalisations (all are good, thank heavens!).

19 out of 100 books read. whoop whoop! At a rate of 1 a month, it will take me 7 years to read the list.....well now I'm depressed.

To Be Read

I just can't.....At the last count it is about 40 book. I've decided to have a bit of a cull as having too many books to be read is stressing me out. I'm the type of person who has one foundation, one lipstick and one mascara. I just don't seem to do well with choice. I'll update and provide a figure at the end of May.

Looking forward to

A holiday! After being back in work since January, I'm looking forward to a week's holiday. We are visiting my Sister and we can't wait! Book wise, I'm in the mood for some European crime, so I'm going to revisit Donna Leon's Guido Brunetti in Venice. And of course the magnificence that is the Eurovision Song Contest will be taking place in May. I cannot wait!!!!!
