I have a lot of love for the Shipyard Girls series as it is set in the town that my in-laws call home. These books are a wonderful series paying homage to the women of the Shipyards who took over the jobs of the men when they went to fight during World War 2. I would strongly recommend reading the Shipyard Girls books in Order, rather than reading them as standalone novels.
