Full disclosure here, the Moomins give me the wig. I blame it on the late 1970s programme of The Moomins which was shown on terrestrial channels. I remember as a child not feeling very sure about these beloved characters. But they are truly beloved by people all over the world. Finnish people remain very proud of Tove Jansson.
