I'm only 3 days late in wrapping up my August reads, namely because I was so keen to include Malibu Rising which was the perfect summer read. August has been a lovely month for us. We had a lovely break at the seaside visiting my sister, a new addition to the family arrived, we sold a house and bought a house, and celebrated the wedding of a couple of our dearest friends, which involved a weekend away. Wow! looking at that, I make no wonder we are shattered.

Reading wise, I was all over the summer reads, there was no crime this month (as in reading it, not committing it!) and I finally got my 5 ⭐️ paddle out. It had been a long time coming. So without further ado, let's wrap up this month.

Looking Forward to

In a word, AUTUMN! Summer has been a wash-out in the UK, although not as awful as for other people around the world at the moment. Bring me crisp mornings and comfy jumpers. I am ready to dive in.

Also, I am looking forward to starting to pack up our house. We haven't a moving date yet, but are already getting excited!
